Discover the art of lost wax casting in an intimate, hands-on jewellery workshop hosted by Tahuna Collective at the Sunup Space in Byron Bay’s industrial estate.
Over 2.5 hours, you'll learn the fundamentals of wax carving and create 1–2 unique rings using jewellers wax. Explore different shapes, textures and techniques as you bring your own designs to life, with guidance and support throughout the process. This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, get creative and make something entirely your own with your own hands.
Once complete, your wax creations will be professionally cast in solid sterling silver using the ancient lost wax casting method. They are then carefully refined, finished and polished and sent to you ready to wear and enjoy for years to come.
No previous jewellery-making experience is necessary.
